Yeah but it was the Islanders. That's why I don't do it.

Literally every team in the NHL (along with their fan base) participates in the playoff beard tradition--to say nothing of European clubs. I mean, ****, now we have something called a Beard-A-Thon during the playoffs that raises millions of dollars for charity. It's far more than just a tradition belonging to one team.

I grew one last year for the 3 weeks or so they stayed alive.

My wife and my job hated it, so Im questionable for this year.

Here's where I'm starting out. Took that the morning of game 1

edit- God damn the resolution of pictures on my phone is too big

Let's hope are in the playoffs long enough for any of us to grow a beard and not a 5 o'clock shadow.

Well, think about this...

Brad Richards did the opposite, he shaved before the playoffs.

And man he suddenly looks 10 years younger...and he also plays better :D

He's also playing 10 years younger... He brought out a new gear. I think he's going 120% right now to give a positive note to the end of his rangers career

So just because every other team and their fan bases have embraced something that means I should embrace it too? Oh, and I don't need a to grow a beard to give money to charity.
