I don't understand some of the slides in that gif. Why is the logo blue, and why is there an iphone slide?

It copies the Twitter logo:

Just some more twitter ideas. The good thing is that we could take these seriously or tongue in cheek. It's still a work in progress, and if you guys like it I can take it further. Still not sure if the "repeat" frame works right now. Any ideas?

I love it. It definitely has to be the Twitter theme.

I like the Twitter theme.

However, the Kings have not lost a playoff series since I have donned this avatar, so I may keep mine the same.

I also rocked that one (Legionnaire's, in honor of his comeback) last year so maybe a combination of it and the twitter theme - like instead of a player it'd be the lion, followed by another slide that says "#workedlastyear".

That's why the "Return of the Fluke" makes more sense. Because you are poking fun at the other teams calling you a fluke while you steamroll them again.

Unless we suffer a first round collapse (and it can happen), at which point all we'll be doing to giving those who think it is a fluke ammo.

I like the social media ideas better with the hashtags. Provides for more creative options, especially with the hashtag part.

And that can happen, but I think it's good to have some swagger (we could take some cues from the Kings Twitter). If they go out in the first round, the avatars will the least of my worries.

As for the "fluke" theme, I think the boards would have no problem understanding it since it was a discussion all throughout summer, the lock out and still pops up in threads.

I haven't read the twitter thread because I'm sure it's a giant waste of time, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone brought up the Kings being a fluke or something to that effect. If the fluke theme is mentioned inside of the twitter thread, then it is more prevalent than a bunch of teenagers and Edmonton fans upset about the Kings twitter feed.

Oh, and change the color from blue to some sort of Kings color, be it black/silver or purple. Biting the Twitter font for the logo is good enough: doesn't have to be blue as well.

The twitter theme has more possibilities since it can range from last season or this season. The fluke theme limits us to last year. Plus, if anyone wanted the fluke theme, we can make a twitter avatar with a fluke hashtag.

I think the twitter logo has to be instantly recognizable or else it's going to take too long for people to get it. Maybe the bird with a crown? Here's a rough mockup:

TWITTER idea IT IS ! ... I think it plays off the Kings Twitter hate (jealousy) around the NHL, hasn't been done before that I've seen, and offers the widest variety of options. The FLUKE idea could be incorporated into some of the #hashtag sections for those that like that. Overall I think the best layout would be to combine what ReclamationProject , KingsKnight and MollerManor have already mocked up.

Should be no reference to 2012 SC Champs as these are 2013 playoff avatars...let any pictures from last playoff speak to winning the Cup.

These are amazing and I vote for these. Really great work. Problem is I can't really think of that many hashtags to use.
