He’s got the hands and the brain, but not the shot and especially not the skating. He may not be a good enough athlete to be in the NHL—too slow and soft. But I agree with you, let’s give him another year, at least, given he’s a 1 point per game AHLer in his first two years in North America and just turned 23.

Kapanen for Schneider would be a start of something to discuss although Rangers need young d 20 21 22 AHL with NHL potential or center depth, can Kapanen play center long term?. Dach way too injury prone. Could have kept Chytil if they wanted an injury prone player.
