Yeah. I don't know why Sandin was so concerned with getting regular ice-time when you can basically pencil Muzzin missing half the season off the bat. Couple that with other injuries, when would Sandin come out of the lineup?

Nobody familiar with Chychrun's game is bringing him aboard as a shutdown D. I mean i guess you could try it but it would be much smarter to bring in a d-man that's already strong defensively and not somebody who would have to change his game to fit a different role. Then take his appearances on the injured reserve list into consideration and it's extra dicey. After that you still have to factor the hefty acquisition cost into the equation.
I'd pass on that plan.

Hate to bring up an old thread, but is Muzzin basically retired at this point? Or will he recover enough to play again? I didn’t realize he had spinal surgery
