You can look on Elite Prospects. They have a cool feature which shows all of a players relations. Sometimes they even show them if they have coached, played woman's hockey or have been elite at another sport.

i agree and i'll add one small correction , he has a full ntc this season and his 10 team no trade list kicks in July 1/23

I was spitballing the other day and came up with Detriot as a possible landing spot for him. Young d corps that could use help on the left side. Next closest spot to home for him. Has the cap space.
 
Hung on to Muzzin too long. As he did with Simmonds, would have done with Foligno, Too attached and too loyal to certain players.

And if/when he returns he'll be back to square one as far as regular season readiness.

I don't see him pulling the chute though.

Perhaps it is up to the doctors to declare him unfit?
 
We have 1.5 D left .. i mean guys who can defend .. Brodie and Gio (at half) .. hopefully Gio can get his legs back soon and get some help from Lily when he gets off LTIR .. Sandin is way too slow and Gio is taking huge hits covering up for him so far .. Rielly has been completely useless except game 1 (from a defense standpoint) .. no pro team can win right now with this D

What would you do, if you were in charge right now? Which D would you target to obtain?

FWIW, I agree with you for the most part... noting that neither Sandin, nor Giordano have had a goal scored against them even strength this year, and Holl is the third best D in that department. Sandin might not have the wheels, but I think he's better than you give him credit for.

Rielly has been a disaster this season so far. Part of me wonders if we could trade Rielly, who would be interested, and what we'd get back. Then who would we replace him with?

No updates on Muzzin though as of yet? Or have I missed them? I've seen the injured reserve notation, just not any comments on what he is out with etc...

Excited to see Kral play for us. Every time I’ve watched him play he looks like a calming presence back there… something we badly need.

I have zero interest in that job .. and have been away from game now for better part of 3 years .. so probably not best guy to be making any major decision .. i only started going back to games for past 3 games .. and going to my 1st Marlie game on Saturday this week .. but it is another huge job to fix that D for sure .. what I would like to see is Sandin play PP1 for Rielly and team to get Rielly a solid #2 guy who is a #1 defender and can handle da boardwork and net front like a Jakob C

You think Chychrun could be used as a shut down D? I don't know man... I don't see that. I think a better target might be Connor Murphy for that role.

You have to wonder why they haven't tried Sandin on his strong side with Giordano, who has over 1000 games rather than Sandin who has less than 100?

So you put the least experienced on his weaker side, rather the most experienced, who likely has as more games on his off side than Sandin has in the league?

Love the Kral call up but wouldn’t be shocked if Keefe still turns to Mete given Keefe’s awful development with younger players. Kral reminds me a lot of Gunnarsson.

Sandin on his weak side, and Giordano have ZERO goals against. It’s the least of my worries.
 
Muzz and Murr should open up a cabin and boat rental kind of place on Robidas Island! Ice fishing in the winter, fall hunting and fishing and watersports all summer long. With extra added bonus of all that cap space it would give the Leafs.

Gunns! Fantastic he was a good solid guy, who of course couldn't play hockey nor skate because LeaFlanders said so.

Just when you think all is lost, the hockey gods send somebody new to hate and obsess over:laugh:

Also, Muzzin's future has to be a big question mark here... if Muzzin is done, our LH guys are all likely be playing their strong side. (except Brodie), and we'd probably bring in another Right hand/side guy.
