Pepe has been solid this game. His speed especially has gotten us into some good positions.

So refs should give wrong calls all the time because of consistency. Even when it’s against different teams and different refs?
We have had 3 penalties like that against us this season. The refs must think that is the penalty standard.

So there is no conspiracy against Arsenal?
Of course. We have lost at least 15-20 points on refereeing calls every season for the last 20 years.
The strange goal called off against Leicester at home cost us 3 points. Mane elbow on Tierney potentially cost 2. The Luiz red card against Wolves cost us 3. Lacazette not getting a penalty against Villa is 1/3.
Burnley handball not being given cost 2. The penalty against Fulham robbed us of 2. That’s 15 points cost. Watch them all back, because they are not debatable.

There are also some very debatable ones, like Fernandes not getting a red at the Emirates, but I don’t think we would have won regardless. The Pepe red card against Leeds was wrong and maybe it cost us two points. But we have been cost this many points by referees every season for over a decade, Arteta should know this and not rely on winning by small margins.
