We play Aston Villa next, if Liveprool go up we should just shithouse the game since Taylor has lost it anyways.

DENYING A GOAL OR AN OBVIOUS GOAL-SCORING OPPORTUNITY

Where a player denies the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by a handball offence the player is sent off wherever the offence occurs.

Law 12 - Fouls and Misconduct

I don't make the rules. Take it up with the people who do.

Sorry but what the f*** does this have to do with you saying that more players should be sent off

Honestly, regardless of the call, Taylor should be immediately fired for the fact that he didn't even stop in front of the VAR monitor. He walked over, turned around and changed the entire game.

You have VAR. Take 2 freaking looks at it when it's such a significant call.

It likely doesn't change anything, but it's still amazing how incompetently the PL can use VAR.

"his right arm moves towards the ball" .....

Buddy, it hits his thigh clearly, what did he manage to get his arm up and react in a millisecond to then get an intentional touch on it?

It his his thigh, bounces up and glances off his chest into his arm. Yet they determined that was a deliberate handball.

They didn't determine it was deliberate. Read the rule again. It doesn't matter if it's deliberate. He's supposed to be sent off anyway.

For the record, I did find an article from when they brought in the double jeopardy rule that specified that "deliberate" handballs would be a red card. Commentators continued to say that the red meant Taylor interpreted it as intentional. Not sure if this is actually accurate or not, but it is how I understood the double jeopardy.

*shrug* One of the side effects of having such a big linguistic advantage over other leagues is that the EPL doesn't need as good of a product to still out-earn everyone else.

It's also borderline if it's deliberate or not. He does swipe at the ball intentionally after handling it. I can't tell if he touched the ball again while doing that.
