Sure, they need more attacking talent and have for a while. Potter consistently has that team out playing the opposition, sometimes playing them right off the field, but they struggle to score goals.

Carrick didn't really say but probably tactical and schedule. United didn't attack much in the first 60 minutes against Villarreal then brought on Bruno and Rashford. They might do the same today and bring Ronaldo on. Another game on Thursday too.

Never understood why a place like England which has always had bad weather, can't deal with stuff like that.

We don't have bad weather, we have changeable weather. Big difference. And heavy snow like hit the north west today is rare. We might get a decent snow fall once per year, and it might only last for a day.

We have a severe winter of the type an American/Canadian might recognise about once per decade. The last one was in 2010/2011, so we're due another one soon. That's why we're not prepared for it, the investment required vs the benefits it would bring just isn't worth it for us.
