United have matched up all over the park with Chelsea. The 433 has always been a system that matches up extremely well with 343s, fullbacks on wingbacks, front 3 on back 3, Fred and McTominay on the Chelsea pivot, Matic capable of dropping into the back 3 due to him not having a direct man.

It's reduced the game to a 50/50 battle. Players vs players all over the pitch. It’s a fine plan when a team is in disarray to reduce the game to tight margins.

Well yea that's to be expected. They haven't pressed with any regularity for years and they're playing a team that's very good with the ball. It'll take a long time before they're able to press effectively.

Chelsea has nearly 70% possession, hit the woodwork, had CHO (I think) 1v1 against De Gea, shots are 10-1 and 4-0 on target. xG are probably like 1.2 - .05 or something. This is anything but a 50/50 game.
