Liverpool is scary right now, they dominated in spite of Salah having an off game by his standards. But if Klopp knows what's good for him he's starting Matip in important matches, not Konate.

I think that’s the plan somewhat, though I think it’s a bit more horses for courses.

Konate needs minutes. Here’s one to get Matip a rest and get him some experience against a different Southampton attack. I think with Ward Prowse you’d expect them to look for set pieces as well

Traore doesn't have a drop of sweat yet his arms look well oiled.

So much is made by this nothing player.

Probably the best team to watch ATM.

Konate reminds me a lot of Joe Gomez. Gomez is more polished but Konate better in the air. Both are over reliant on their athleticism which half an get them into trouble but there is a lot of talent there.

That was a fully controlled win even though Newcastle had some moments here and there. With that being said, Auba and Odegaard were absolute disasters today. Odegaard in particular did nothing passable for me, even his free kick had too much curve on it towards the goalkeeper. He just plays way too slow for a position that needs agility and high pace dribbling (he’s the opposite of all those strengths). Partey had some rough moments as well, but also had some brilliant ones. Lokonga was the pride of the team today I thought after Saka, I also loved White’s game today. His ability to run with the ball adds such a unique element from the back line even if he isn’t the most pure defensive CB. What can I say about Martimessi? He seriously needs more minutes than what he’s been getting from Artekkers. Gabriel is a difference maker.

The handball complaints are such a weak excuse to get back at the Arsenal fans on this board. Tomi clearly had no idea where the ball was going and did not plan that by any means. However, the refs ONCE AGAIN missed a clear straight red card on Lascelles. This effin’ punk decides that because Tavares is able to put in a good shoulder, he thinks he can do the same thing on Martinelli, but conducts an effing elbow straight to his jaw with so much force. Absolutely disgusting that he was able to stay on the pitch and finish the match. We are lucky that he did not dislocate or even break his mandible bone. If you lot did not know, if you break your lower jaw bone your mouth gets wired shut for like a month or two. Rubbish EPL refs against us once again…

Finally watched the game…it’s pretty simple what happened there. When you have so many players who can score and so many who can create, that will happen more often than not. The only times Liverpool runs into problems are problems of balance, of tilting too much towards attack. Lot of games coming up and they need to win a lot of them, they need to be careful to not get the wrong lessons from the last week’s easy results. Too easy actually and I’m not sure I like it. They won 10-0 total after a bad result but I’m not sure that’s good. They immediately dropped points against Brighton last time.

Potter wasn't happy after Brighton fans were booing. I get they are frustrated with missing chances and no league win in 8 games but they're 8th  Potter's right.

Not really they haven’t won in 2 months how long do you think they’ll stay 8th with these results?

8th or 15th, this is the best it has been in decades for Brighton. Four games ago they had more shots on target and better xg away at Liverpool.

Spurs-Burnley will be postponed due to weather. Can't wait to see how Spurs will be f***ed over scheduling-wise.
