Either a trade works for both partners or it doesn't work at all. Not sure MTL had the pieces or the will to make this one happen, and PLD seemed at times like a luxury rather than a need for them.

Looks like the domino's teetering. I think Dubois will be a great fit in LA.

You're telling me that isn't instantly one of the best top nine forward groups in the league and easily the best the Kings have iced since the Cup years? The ability to use Danault and Moore as a pure shutdown unit that frees up Fiala and Dubois to feast on weaker opposing lines is a huge advantage. And all you have to give up is Vilardi who sucked until this year plus Iafallo and Arvidsson to make the cap work. Maybe a pick too, but who cares.

You sure did kick a hornets nest. Been saying this for some time. There's a couple of King's fans that are ok with the idea, but most are dead set against it. PLD makes so much sense.

Iafallo is a 3rd line defensive winger that's overpaid by about a million, Vilardi is a 2nd line scoring winger who misses about 35% of the season due to injuries.
