To shed cap? All those plays are more useful on the ice than PEB. And, the Flyers have a ton of cap flexibility right now.

Before it happens, can we just all please remember that getting an "A" means nothing more than that the player is a leader and a good character guy. It doesn't automatically go to the best players and it also doesn't mean that everyone who doesn't get it is a bad leader/character/personality.

With that said, I would be neither surprised nor upset to see it go to MacDonald. We don't know how he is, leadership/personality wise on the bench or in the locker room. If he does get the A can we please please please please please not have a meltdown? Can we remain calm and realize it doesn't negatively effect us or the team in any way, shape, or form.

If I had to guess, I'd say either Gudas or Voracek. Obviously they don't care if only forwards wear letters, seeing as Bellemare just had one.

Losing Bellemare is addition by subtraction. I couldn't care less if they got nothing back for him. Yeah it was nice getting a third rounder for Rinaldo but before then I would have felt the same way if he suffered the same fate as Bellemare.
