I watched the video too. He seemed pretty jovial. Just wish I knew what he said.

From what I could tell, he first laughed and said he hadn't been paying attention to the Coyotes' playoff aspirations. Then he said they'd have to wait and see how the series (I guess playoff series?) play out. And then he said the best strategy so far has been to not comment.
No guarantee that I correctly understood any of that though!
Right on the money!
But what needs no translation is the mumblings and him having a hard time hiding his smile. He his caught off guard obviously at first. But then he gets the old record out (no comments).
Can anyone here who speaks French give us a little insight on what he said?
The best translation I can give is "ehhhhhhhh ehhhhhhhhhhh ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhhhhhh eh ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh can't tell"
No seriously the reporter asked him if he knew the 'yotes are officially eliminated, to which he answered "oh really?". Which was followed by "what are the plans now?" and PKP said "we have....no umm I guess we'll see how it turns out during the playoffs, I know it isn't fun to hear for the fans and the media but we have to remain quiet."
Do you think that means he's suggesting no announcement will be made until after the playoffs? Or was he just trying to be as non-commital as possible?
I think he can't do much but wait for a phone call

I'm actually starting to believe that this whole Phoenix saga will be coming to an end in less than two months. I can't wait!

I have no idea how much you pissed him off, but I wouldn't get in this man's way.

It has already been 4 years...what could a 5th one really change...Right ?Could be years....
FWIW Pierre LeBrun commented on the Coyotes saga briefly yesterday on the ESPN hockey podcast. Said from what he's hearing theres a better chance that the team will be playing in Phoenix next year rather than relocation. Said there's 4 groups looking (mentioned Pastor & LeBlanc) but ofcourse didn't really get into any details about why we should expect them to be able to close. I assume he toucehd base with league sources and that's the line they're currently using.
