Fun fact: KK has had 59 *seconds* of PK time in his entire career. I don't think this is really a role he's being groomed for.

Suzuki has 50 minutes in less games.
We have zero to lose by giving him some PK time. It’s terrible as is.

And yet, Bouchard said the Habs goal was to develop him in all situations last year when he was sent to the AHL. He was in the PK (with Evans) there.

He also played PK in Liiga right before the NHL season started.

Julien refusing to use him there despite grooming him to be a defensive 3rd line center was the weirdest thing. Ducharme is currently focusing on developing KK's offensive, so I'm not surprised he's not putting KK in the PK.

Ummm, I've been watching this game since the mid-late 70's and yes it was...Christ, I still remember people ragging on Bossy all the time for "not being involved enough physically"...

By casual fans, yes... By real fans, no. And I’m not talking about journalists, just real fans like us who watch every game, post on forums, know prospects, get excited by a toe-drag in Norwegian third division by one of our 7th draft picks...

You go back, Phil, do it again, wheel turnin' 'round and 'round
You go back, Phil, do it again

I like the idea of the PK forwards being Danault-Lehkonen/Byron-Evans-Armia and then coutnerattacking after the PK with
Toffoli-KK-Anderson, followed by
Drouin/Tatar-Suzuki-Gallagher

He had a good game but let's not lie to ourselves. Both passes, while amazing, were blind passes. It's not an indicator of what's to come offensively from Phil.

He is a defensive player and should be utilized, and paid, as one.

What are you talking about? Blind passes? As in...I have no idea where my players are, I'll throw the pass anyway? Tell me that's not serious. I'm all for blasting DAnault. Actually, I'M done with him. I want to move on frmo him. I am NEVER giving this guy 5M$. Not even 4M$. But yesterday, was his first great game of the year. How in the world do people try to erase that?

Blind passes as in he literally wasn't looking where he was throwing the puck and was tossing it, in his best estimate, where the front of the net was. They were fantastic passes but not a result of his vision.

Sorry but that makes no sense. He saw where Gallagher was. Those passes were intented to him. You can't say how amazing those passes were and yet he had no idea what he was doing.

Even @Mrb1p wouldn't share your feeling.

That's absurd, even for you.

You are becoming litterally a wet blanket here when everybody enjoy that last game by Danault.
It's like a stain on a nice white robe of a bride, what a killjoy you are today. You are entitle to have a different opinion but don't be surprised if everybody slam your face, lol. :D

Anticipation no look passes are the very essence of vision. That’s the most creative i have ever seen Danault. That fact that he nailed that pass twice tells you it wasn’t fluke. He was looking for Gally.

I exactly know what you mean on that first goal that Danault just did his usual and did put the puck in front of the net blindly and it worked. But gotta disagree on the second goal , he finally had a good play for once in a while can't argue about it.

But for thoe 2 goals alot of people are sleeping on Tatar even tho he got 2 secondary assists on those goals he was the reason why the habs scored twice. Tatar had his best game of the season alongside alot of players last night.

 I don't see how it can.

Honestly, no harm in giving him some experience there. See how he does. Esp in games where we're out of it or up by some goals.
It can be worse because it isn't at 0 % success until now.
Nothing against KK by the way, but about the use of "can't be wore" :wg:
