They weren’t going to go into next season with him being a lame duck. Little surprised they made no other changes to the staff but maybe that’s strategic (let me dream on the Soto connection lol).

We do this almost every time. There are some disasters like Gerardi that are the exceptions to the rules. But we wildly overrate what a manger does. It’s fine. Your opinion shouldn’t change.
