Man the Mets really cratered since the playoffs last year.

I wonder how much money the Mets are eating. In the Scherzer thing it was like $36M between the rest of this season and the amount of salary they are eating for next year.

May well end up they are spending $50M to $75M for Ronald Acuna's little brother and this guy as the prospects.

Jays traded for DeJong today so plugged tbe defensive side of losing him. But hope he is not out long.

Now are they going to add a RH bat...bringing back T.Hernandez?

Considering stats and age of Lorenzen and Verlander and what was given up (yes, I get Verlander is a playoff guy and has won before), I think the Phillies did not pay a lot in the grand scheme of things.

But you know, time will tell, as it always will.
