This is the biggest Philly choke in 50 years. I dont care about those previous games. The Phillies went to Arizona up 2-0 in this series. They came back needing to win 1 of 2. They choked it all away. The manager made some all time boneheaded mistakes with the bullpen, our biggest players came up the smallest, and we went out with a whimper.

Absolute f***ing meltdown. Do not sugarcoat this, this is the worst choke we've seen in a generation, possibly 2.

And this is the same team and same manager who got no hit in the World Series last year. It won't happen, but there absolutely should be talk of replacing Topper this winter. He's just not a big game coach.

When all is said and done, it’s a sport. It’s entertainment. Frustrating series but if that’s the worst in your life then things are pretty good. As Philly fans, going by myself who started paying attention to sports when I was ~11, out of the 100 big 4 sports seasons all but 2 have ended in disappointment. It is what it is. Don’t let a sport knock you off a square

Tired of the excuses, this team cannot manufacture runs. It's all or nothing with the long ball which annually gets eaten alive in the playoffs. You have to be able to small ball in the playoffs. We can't. We don't even know how to try

I'm more concerned about the big payroll guys going small in the biggest moments than I am the least impactful coaching position of the big four sports. These AB's have been absolutely dreadful. If anything, Kevin Long's little league coaching deserves more criticism.
