Lol bye, clown

There was actually a video out there of someone heckling Bryce and how he wasn’t better than Acuña, but kept saying it Acuna, so Bryce just kept correcting him. Had to be a put on of some sort though.

Strider is predictable. Has a great arm but is immature and hasnt put it all together yet. He made huge mistakes in all 3 NLDS starts against us.
Great arm is an understatement, the Castellanos HR came on a 100 MPH fastball at almost 90 pitches - I kept expecting his velocity to fall off, but it never did.

His slider is inconsistent, and his 4 seamer lacks the spin rate of someone like Wheeler.
But these are tweaks, if he ever develops a good changeup he could be unhittable.

yeah he's an elite arm talent that's predictable same thing I was thinking. Braves had an all time great season, Phils are built for this shit for real. If you don't think Harper leading these men into battle isn't the reason they're this great you're nuts, I'd take a f***ing bullet for Bryce Harper and I'm not even on the roster.
But I was told "culture" doesn't matter?

Yeah, you need talent, but certain players in all sports just hate to lose, and if you have a couple of those it elevates teams. Pete Rose is an all-time asshole, but he brought the swagger to the 1980 Phillies. We've seen that with MJ, Butler is one of those guys, imagine if the Sixers keep him instead of Simmons.

The strikezone was huge. Not sure if that was applied evenly or not. Probably more noticeable for the Braves because there were some bad calls in the biggest moments
It was applied evenly, but not as consistent as it should have been.
There were some outside strikes called on Philly hitters as well.

It was wide, but inconsistent. There would be a random pitch here or there where the ump would be squeezing the pitcher, and then the next inning, calls something an inch further out of the zone a strike.

I don't know about you guys, but I was confident the whole way. Wearing my brown pants gives me confidence.

Harper must be giving Nick some pandering lessons. Dudebrah is locked in.

Hey Kyle.

Man what a fun team!

Look forward to reading through this thread tomorrow.

Funny story, I also changed into brown pants during that 7th inning...

That whole Braves organization should be completely embarrassed. That has to be the worst showing from top to bottom of an organization ever. From the mascot to the reports to the players, and the fans.

From Blooper picking a fight with the Phanatic, Strider yelling and arguing with his coaches, Arcia's poking the bear, melting down and yelling at the crowd, Olson disapearing, the reporters crying about the ground crew in philly turning on the water...it goes on and on.

That was completely epic. Just a master class in loser mentality. Those Players performed as individuals and not as a team.

I’m not a shit talker or one to get too far ahead but I kinda see the Phillies just straight railroading the Diamondbacks. They swept the Dodgers but that team was totally cooked.
My friend lives out west and watches the Dbacks. Compares them to the Phillies last year. 2 really good pitchers and an offense that can explode if they are on. Lots of steals too, though I suspect JT may have something to say about that. Should be a fun one. Would love a Texas-Philly WS.

Let's not forget the fans littering their home field with beer in Game 1 because of a catcher interference call in a game they were already losing 2-0.

I'm not looking past the D-Backs at all. That's a good young team that doesn't know any better.

I like the Phillies in 6 games though, just like with San Diego last year. Our hitting and pitching are all getting the job done right now. This is as determined a team as we have seen in a long time.

Coming from a Toronto citizen and Toronto sports fan, I’m jealous lol. 8 wins away from a World Series, the Eagles are SB contenders, if the sixers could ever get over the 2nd round issues they could possibly win a title. Great times for you guys. Just gotta fix the Flyers

If you're referring to Tortorella's influence on this island of misfit toys, I'm going to flip a table

With all due respect, if the roles were reversed and Philly fans littered the field and the players and organization acted like the Braves did the past week, it would be a non-stop feeding frenzy about how bad an organization we have and how awful the fans are. But because its the Braves, everyone looks the other way.

LA made sure to mention that fact when it was happening.

The faster it comes in the faster it goes out. If MLB, if you can't make your 100mph move even a little, it ends up in the upper deck.
