According to my source: #Philadelphia #Phillies prospect Johan Rojas A 22-year-old outfielder who hits .308 with 9 HR, 45 RBIs and 30 stolen bases from #Readingfightin AA is called up to the Majors

Would be weird to see him called up and just sit on the bench so either Harper is going to the injured list and Schwarber is gonna DH or Harper playing 1B?

Maybe Schwarber to the IL? He seems hurt. Slower than usual.

Harrison got put on the IL today, if that means anything

Well me and Girl are watching them on Wednesday so it's definitely Harper going on the injured list

Some rumblings about Nolan Arenado? What do we think it would cost and what happens to 3rd base? I would assume Painter would not be involved in that deal but maybe Abel would? Not sure I would pull the trigger on that but also wouldn't be upset if they did. I would think Bohm moves to first in that scenario as well. Adding a bat like that to this lineup would be pretty ridiculous.

Hope Rojas can show off the goods.
I don't know where you can find a minor league site that tracks it, but saw some tweets saying Rojas was one of the leaders in minor defensive runs saved for CFers.

I was hoping Harper to 1B/Schwarber to DH was happening since a defensive OF of Marsh-Rojas-Castellanos would be a lot better. Marsh can play all of left and then even cover a bit of CF while Rojas plays over a bit so Castellanos is basically only having to cover like 50-60% of RF.

Man. I've tried to go to two phillies games this year, and they are both gonna be rained out.

This is some bullshit

I thought they might call up Kingery this time instead of Ellis but interesting to see Rojas. I know he's on the 40 but I had wondered if they would be looking to move him and Abel + in a package for something to get the offense going more consistently.

Would be extremely farfetched and unlikely and only a doctor who looked at the actual medical charts could say what Hoskins actual surgery entailed and required... I think the fastest MLB recovery for an ACL surgery is when Kyle Schwarber tore his in the opening series of 2016 and then made his return as a DH in the World Series in October.

Hoskins had surgery I believe March 23.

Also Rob Thomson said Bryce Harper is 'close' to playing 1B.

I think the year the Phillies beat the Brewers in the playoffs Yovani Gallardo tore his ACL in may but pitched against them in the playoffs.
