I'm pretty sure that

Bobby Abreu

would work in any of the two team spots today.

I was surprised at how low the percentage was on the guy I picked as having 200 hits for the Yankees.

Big, if true.

I mean why wouldn't they? "Ok, so no pay-cuts... but we play fewer games?" Sounds good to me. "Ok so the office is going from a 5 day/40 hour week to a 4 day/32 hour week... BUT everyone's pay will stay the same."

I know there are theoretical incentive type things. Some hitters and pitchers have options based around reaching a certain amount of plate appearances or innings... but that could be handled by just multiplying by like (162/154) or whatever game total it was changed to.

I like to check out my guesses after I make them. It doesn’t get much closer than

Adrian Beltre

getting exactly 200 Hits once. Someone could have taken me for a ton of money on that one.

I don’t think I get this immaculate grid thing but somehow I got 7 right with 2 more guesses. I am completely stumped on the Phillies/astros one. From my understanding you have to choose a player that had 200 hit on the astros or Phillies who played for both team. It’s ain’t a 200 hitter on the Astros, Biggio or Altuve. From my understanding there are 6 Phillies with 200 hits since the the Astros inception, and none of them played for Houston. I cheated my ass off for this one and I’m either blind or no such player exists. I think it’s more likely I’m playing the game wrong

With the Astros/Phillies you just need to name a player that played for both teams. The 200 Hit column is irrelevant for that block.

Top of the 1st reminds everyone early that this, in fact, the ALL-STAR game.
