Kyle Tucker is the Charlie McAvoy of Baseball

Against any other pitcher on the NL id be cheering for a Julio walk-off here

Hmm… pretty sure Soto just said the Phillies are taking him back to Philadelphia for the series this weekend.

Plant the seed.

Phillies acquire: Nolan Arenado, Paul Goldschmidt, Jordan Montgomery, + a bit of cash

Cardinals acquire: Andrew Painter + Alec Bohm + Griff McGarry

Phillies push all of their chips to the table for 2023 & 2024 in true Dombrowski fashion, while cardinals get elite pitching prospect they desperately need

Let's bring this rule to the big leagues

If this was in MLB the reaction to a fan failing to make a catch would get brutal lol.

Also possibly pushing someone out of the way you think has no chance. Kinda like when there's a fly in my house and I watch my two cats going after it, I know one of them is not going to catch it and probably going to just get in the way of the other one.

Should do it for homeruns, too. If you're gonna do something novel like that, go all the way, dammit.
I think it still has to abide by the rules of being outside the field of play for those foul ball catches (or not interfering with a fielder probably)

If you were going to let fans reach over for HR's then it's time to bring 10 foot fishing pole nets.

To Hell with that. I want to see fans kicking the crap out of each other when a long ball comes towards them. Bonus if it is opposing fans. Real Beyond Thunderdome stuff.

Since we brought up the Cardinals, I'd be more interested in seeing what the White Sox have going on. Giolito would be swell and is a rental. Probably will be covered around the league though. Kendall Graveman is controllable through next season, Middleton seems to like those guys. Even lesser rentals like Joe Kelly or Kenyan Middleton. Can never have enough relievers down the stretch

Phils definitely need to add a starter though
