Yeah my cousin was saying last year in the playoffs how he found him annoying as a tv announcer but liked him personally. Smoltz never really talked baseball around him. I guess Smoltz wanted to get away from it.

Im confident the Eagles will get one with Jalen cause he is so much better than the rest of the NFC quarterbacks. Not so much with Bryce and the Phillies. Stott and Marsh being very good players enhances their chances though. Them being left hand is a plus too.

Can't expect 7 run innings every night but even outside of that it was nice to finally see them manufacture a few runs (5th run was a double, ground out advance to third, sac fly) and a few knocks with risp. That, not hope chess, is the winning formula
