Maurice never gave them a chance. If the lack of chances with the Panthers increases their quality with the Islanders, you guys should get Lucas Carlson.

Reilly had like 8 better guys in front of him, and he got hurt. Even with Ekblad and Montour out, at the beginning of last season we still had Forsling, Mikkola, Ekman-Larsson, Kulikov, Balinskis, and Mahura. All of whom are better than Reilly.

Boqvist was absolutely given a chance. PP1 time, second and third pair, easy zone starts, etc.. he stinks.

Lucas Carlsson was shafted. But I think that was Zito, not Maurice. During the President's Trophy season, Carlsson actually played great, but Zito still acquired like three new dmen at the TDL to bury him, and then he further stocked up on fringe NHL dmen that offseason. I don't think Lucas Carlsson was ever given a call-up and actually given the chance to play for Maurice.
