Phillies are actually 3rd from the bottom in worst impacted avg runs from Umpires on the season.

Realmuto this year is 57th out of 60 catchers in pitch framing.

The only worse catchers are Elias Diaz(Rockies), Keibert Ruiz(Nationals), and Martin Maldonado(Astros)

Rockies are actually 9th in avg runs impacted by Umpires on that same chart.

Nationals are dead last and Astros are just above the Phillies in 27th place.

I'm going to hit up one of the Angels-Phillies games next week. Back in the day players used to come out and sign autographs during BP...does that still happen? Was gonna try and nab Ohtani and/or Trout but I am assuming there is little to no chance on that. Anyone have any insight (or tickets they want to unload before I go to StubHub)?

Schwarber’s at a -0.6 WAR according to Baseball Reference. No player to hit 40+ home runs in season has been a negative WAR player ever. Bichette was the closest.

First part, sadly I don't have them anymore. They sold on StubHub a couple of weeks ago.

Second part, the Phillies sign autographs sometimes pregame between sections 115 and 116. The Angels? There were times where I saw kids get autographs sitting in the Diamond Club but MAYBE they sign autographs at the opposite side equivalent of 115/116 which is 131/132 but I think there's a handicapped area at the front of that section so that may not even be an option. I have doubts that Trout or Ohtani would sign with the public though but I have no idea.

I'd love to know how defensive WAR is calculated with any degree of trustworthy accuracy. The offensive part would be easy I imagine.

It uses RetroSheet data. Some pages that might help:
