Today is Hall of Fame day. Who gets in?

I think Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine are 100% locks (not locks to get 100%, but 100% locks to be voted in). Frank Thomas is like a 90% chance to get in. Other than those three I think the only other guys with legit shots this year are Biggio and Morris. Morris I think will get in because there has just been so much talk about him. Biggio I think waits until next year.

In conclusion:

Maddux, Glavine, Thomas, and Morris are in.

Who knows baseball writers are such yahoo's. Biggio & Morris should have gotten in last year instead of having absolutely nobody go.

I didn't really mind either of them. I could take or leave both of them. We'll see who is replacing them. I wonder if that was part of the TV deal..."Looks we'll give you $2.5 billion, but Wheels and Sarge have got to go!"

Gelb just said that CSN made this call. They gained editorial control in new TV deal.

BTW, McCarthy is still there, LA may go in the booth, but Franzke will stay. Unless they rotate.

LA/Franzke confirm they are staying on radio...CSN not involved in that one obviously. CSN reporting that they want 1 guy to replace Wheeler/Sarge.

So 9 innings of TMac and ???

Wonder if they'll go with a big name to match their big deal. Maybe try to pull Kruk away from ESPN... or use Schilling. He definitely needs the money.
