They let Dawkins go though. f*** Joe Banner .
Yeah, and for not much and he still played at a high level.
Regarding either team “not playing anyone” that’s just the nature of a league where there’s only six actually good teams.

With that said the Eagles did, I believe, have the most wins in the NFL against teams with winning records at least at some point towards the end of the year.

The Niners lost to the Chiefs so they did play one of those six good teams. I forget if there’s any context needed for that matchup based off of injuries or anything like that. The Eagles played the Cowboys twice as we all know but I’ll toss both of those out due to the QB’s. The Cowboys also beat the Bengals with a backup QB early in the season.

You play who is in front of you and these teams have smashed them.
I've seen 90% of the 49ers games living in Nor Cal. They are a different team (improved) with Purdy. JimmyG doesn't routinely throw outside/deep. Purdy guy got put in a great situation, but he's excelling in it.

I don’t think this is so much wrong as it misses the point entirely. SF is at the very top of the league on a tier by itself. They’re moderately better than Dallas by every reasonable measure we have on all axes. The consensus matters quite a bit.

Or to put it another way, I think the difference between SF and Tier 2 (DAL and NE) is pretty similar to the difference between Tier 2 and Tier 3. A team like Cincinnati on Tier 3 also has a very good defense, but I’m confident Dallas’ is better.

So as largely Eagles fans who watched many Wentz games, we should probably not write off the Wentz But Make It Good in Buffalo quite yet. The Josh Allen coaster has every possible height, often in the same game.

Remember that time the Texans returner just tossed the ball in the air in the end zone in the playoffs and the Bills recovered it but they went on to say that “common sense prevailed” and the Texans got to keep the ball.

That was fun. I love when we reward incompetence.

I’m pretty sure I can and I didn’t have to think remotely hard…

Who you got? The same as me?

All clearly better to me in no order:

Yes, that one.
2000 Miami (Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, Andre Johnson)
1999 Florida St (Peter Warrick, Anquan Boldin, Laverneus Coles)
2019 LSU
2012 Clemson (Nuk, Sammy Watkins, Martavis Bryant)

Hell, I’m not sure that’s the best Ohio St WR room this century. 2004 had Santonio Holmes, Ted Ginn, and Anthony Gonzalez. I’d understand preferring either.

Bills go out on a whimper. From the team that everyone picked to win it all in October/November to struggling hard against the Miami 3rd string rookie QB and getting blown out by the Bengals.

Will be interesting to see what they do in the offseason. I really thought Gabe Davis would breakout after the playoffs he had last year but that clearly did not happen. I wonder if they go Bijan to jolt that offense somehow.
