Who do we want Dallas or the Niners? I want the Niners. I never get nervous about anything but I would be all week if it is Dallas. No way can they lose that game. it would be unacceptable . I can understand why they lost Super Bowl 15 now.. Plus I dont need the Dallas hype to last another week.

I absolutely want Dallas. I don't want to see Reed Blankenship trying to cover Christian Mc or Kittle (PLEASE COME BACK MADDUX!!). The SF D is really really good. SF's only question is how would a rookie qb react?

Their defense is good but it is vulnerable. I watched the game against LV and Stidham lit them up. They can be thrown on as Geno showed too. Losing to Dallas would be unbearable.

I am not sure actually.
I think the Eagles would have a far easier time against Dallas but losing to them (which certainly could happen. Both the 49ers and the Cowboys are far better than the Giants) would hurt so much more than losing to a juggernaut 49ers team.

I still thinkk the 49ers are the team to beat right now so I kind of expect to see them next weekend.

i think the 49ers win today and come in to the Linc with an 11 game winning streak and the wheels just fall off. Big difference between home playoff games and having to go on the road, in Philly, with a rookie QB.

The 49ers are getting a lot of hype, but they have played nobody and almost lost to a Jarret Stidham led Raiders team that was in tank mode. This is a game where Dan Quinn is going to make Purdy look like a rookie, and i expect big games from Diggs and Parsons. I think Cowboys win.

Regardless of who wins today, they have to play in the Linc next week against a rested, healthy Eagles team that just pasted the Giants.

I ain't skurrd. We aren't locked in here with the Cowboys or Niners, they're locked in here with us.

Woof. A lot of you guys sound like ESP here with the minimizing of the Niners team if it is to be them. As Jojo has pointed out in the past, the matchups between these teams would be fascinating from a tactical perspective.

The Eagles Eagle in the NFC Championship game and Flat Brim doesn’t Flat Brim until the Super Bowl.

Personally I think SF is a tough matchup for anyone. They've been a machine ever since the McCaffrey trade and is probably the one team playing consistently as the best team in the league over the last 2 months. They're hot as a firecracker and it'll take our best effort to beat them.

And Dallas is Dallas. Rivalry game in the NFC Championship? Forget it, anything can happen. And it would suck to lose to them.

That said, these are the best 3 teams this year in the NFC. I would not be shocked if tonight's game leaves the winner bruised. And looking ahead, you are probably looking at KC vs Buffalo. The cream has risen to the top and there is no easy out anymore. Whoever wins from here on out ran a gauntlet to do it.

Wait a second, I missed one obvious bet and it probably would have sent it into the stratosphere.

Exact Final Score: 38-7 on the five year anniversary of the NFC Championship. I won’t get greedy though but that woulda been a good one.

Dallas would be the easier opponent. Prescott has a severe mental block when it comes to the playoffs -- its not matter of will he melt down, but when.

SF is loaded, with an elite defense and an elite running game. But they still have a rookie at the QB position,
and we're not talking Dan Marino here. It will be interesting to see how Dallas approaches him today.

Not really knowing anything about Vegas, but, if SF wins, I predict the opening line next week will be -3 for the Eagles. Maybe -3.5. I can even see a -2.5.

If Dallas wins, I would guess -3.5 to -4. Of course, injuries to significant contributors tonight would impact that to varying degrees.

If tonight is a blowout win for either, all bets are off.

Or not. Whatever.

Well, that's my one concern with the Eagles. If you look at their schedule, they really didn't play anyone this year, other than Dallas. Minnesota? A one trick pony. Green Bay? The "sick old man of NFL", a team clearly on the the decline. Jacksonville? A team on the ascent but not quite there yet.

They may be in for a bit of a shock when the play SF next week (assuming SF wins today). We'll see if they can recover quickly enough.

Regarding either team “not playing anyone” that’s just the nature of a league where there’s only six actually good teams.

With that said the Eagles did, I believe, have the most wins in the NFL against teams with winning records at least at some point towards the end of the year.

The Niners lost to the Chiefs so they did play one of those six good teams. I forget if there’s any context needed for that matchup based off of injuries or anything like that. The Eagles played the Cowboys twice as we all know but I’ll toss both of those out due to the QB’s. The Cowboys also beat the Bengals with a backup QB early in the season.

You play who is in front of you and these teams have smashed them.

If the Eagles played well, they will beat the Cowboys. They could play well and still lose to the Niners.

where was this energy last year?

The 6 teams left are the 6 best teams in football this year. I’m not particularly worried about who they play. They’re all close games.

If forced to make a choice, just give me any team that doesn’t have a healthy Mahomes + Reid combo.
Im no medical professional, but the way Mahomes ankle bent yesterday and how he was moving around after, doesnt make me think he will be healthy in 3 weeks. Ankles shouldnt bend that way.

Usually when ankle's bend that way, acls snap. He lucked out. Cincy is poised to beat them again, Buffalo on the other hand doesn't have the pash rush now to take advantage of his lack of mobility.
