But yeah, Doug really didn't understand how to manage the clock at the end there. No idea why he ran a play before the 2 minute warning when he should be running out the clock.

I really like Nick but firing Doug was something I still think was wrong even though he was too loyal to certain guys in his coaching staff without a doubt.

Just one hell of a coach. And now he might have just made sure that Sirianni really has to prove his worth because I absolutely see the Chargers firing Staley and hiring Steichen now unfortunately.

But well. What an awesome game.

If it makes you feel better, Doug wanted to leave. He didn’t want to be micromanaged anymore.

The Chargers are going to trade for Payton now.
