Frank Reich left 5 years ago and has basically had one good year of playcalling under him since. He's just a name people recognize. I do not get the obsession with him on any level. There are so many good coaches out there. I'd much rather look forward than backward.

Look at how much less push the OL is getting in the running game this year. Why do we think that's happening?

Lane Johnson, while still a fantastic player, is showing signs of breaking down and they have no one on the roster that is anywhere near capable of replacing him.

Lane Johnson is one of the most dominant Right Tackles Ive ever seen. They’re going to have to get lucky getting his replacement in the draft or get some next-level pro scouting to get a tackle via trade or something.

I think the correct answer for Jojo is cause Hurts can't run like last year. So defenses aren't worried about keeping containment. Thus the OLine isn't moving DLines as easy as last year.

Edit: Also when the best RB in fantasy is calling out your plays then I'm pretty sure the 31 other teams know what plays you're running.

It’s both of these. The solution is twofold.

They need to get the hell out of Gun. If they don’t want to go Under Center because Hurts hasn’t done it in forever, go to Pistol. Either works. But you need the Backs in better position and the line needs to be downhill run blocking. That’s the only thing that’s going to open it back up.

Am I a "bad" person for visibly cringing that Sirianni admitted the plan there at the end was to try and get a DPI?

I'm "fine" with a team doing that but don't say the quiet part outloud.

And by "fine" I mean that I absolutely hate any team that gets rewarded for underthrown balls.
