Im just annoyed we didnt have a competent defensive coach last year. If Schwartz was coaching I think they beat the Chiefs. As long as Dallas doesnt win the Super Bowl Ill be fine.
Yea losing that game, being so close when we had such a favorable schedule, will hurt forever.

I think the whole fieldgate thing did have something to do with it. But they also got torched in the run in the second half of the game.

True as this may be, the team has looked broken all season despite the results, and have only gotten worse. Any hopes they would figure out how to clean it up are out the window by now imo
I dont think they will win the Super Bowl, but weirder things have happened. I remember the Ravens lost 3 or 4 games in a row including an absolute beatdown to the Texans in November and then ended up winning the Super Bowl. Other instances have occurred. I just dont think this team will year, though next year can look better.

Hurts has to stop the turnovers. They are brutal. One of the reasons he was so good was because he didn't make many mistakes. Can't refute that.

There's some chicken and the egg here. Does the team not try to exploit the MoF because the QB can't do it or have they not tried to help him get better at it? We have no way of knowing as outsiders. But it would help everyone quite a bit if they could do it just enough to keep defenses a bit more honest.

Either way, I'm comfortable putting it on the OC right now. This just isn't good enough. You have to at least try something besides Slants.

I dont think Geno is playing. Look ahead line was 2.5 before today and now is -4.5. Wouldnt move that much unless they think he is out.

Look at this f***ing thing. Just look at it.

It's admittedly slightly out of date, but 18 is not a tiny sample size in this case. He was the most productive WR in football on in-breakers earlier this year and the eye test says he's been killing teams on them since he came into the league. Baffling.

The line moving in that direction to THAT number concerns me a little. I normally don't look into these things until Tuesdays or Wednesdays so I'll see what happens then.

One of the things we've learned is that team defensive stats are significantly more dependent on the teams you play against than offensive ones.

Dallas is a very good defense. Clearly one of the best in football. Some of their metrics are helped by the terrible offenses they've played. I'm just trying to give some perspective.

*Edit* Ok, we're calling everything tonight. Got it. Adjust and move on.
This btw is spot on. So much hype was made up by theses quote "gauntlet" games that by the end of it all we cannot define what this defense is without emotional context.

If it means he isnt playing, you shouldnt be concerned. Vegas would have more information about his injury. I think after he was announced out today was what did it. Not that the public is backing the Eagles right away.

If you are suggesting that the injury is motivating the movement and not the public, without getting myself into trouble I'll just say that you are wrong, but also dead right in your analysis.
