Serious question. If he breaks the record in 16 games, you really think they won't give it to him as a lifetime achievement thing? Maybe a nod to all the RBs of lore?

If he breaks the record in 16 Games, I would put it well under 5%. They have one of the best OLs in football and the offense is just fine. Not even good. Hell, he’s not even clearly the best Running Back in football this year. He’s a perfectly justifiable choice, but Henry is right there with him such that any order is reasonable.

He’s having a fantastic season. He’ll probably win OPOY and that’s a hell of an accomplishment for a RB in 2024. The top QBs are just worth so much more that you can’t even have the conversation. It’s a flaw with the award system. Penei Sewell might be the best football player on the planet and he has zero chance of winning anything other than an All Pro spot.
