Yes to the Bears, which I found out by reading your post. Unsurprising which two teams went down that road.

I don’t know the full Saints list, but I know Aaron Glenn was on it. What I know of their list is really just not inspiring. Moore feels like the most aggressively fine option possible, so it makes sense to me.

While we're throwing names out there, unless he's actually proper retired at this point, I'm not ruling out Frank Reich. Plenty of experience, connections with both the Eagles and Sirianni, had success here, not tied down by any other obligations at the moment, has called plays before, so Sirianni doesn't end up overextending himself taking that responsibility back on...

I’ve seen people throwing out contract comps that I just don’t think are realistic like JOK. Patrick Queen got 3/41 (14 Guaranteed) and the reporting at the time was that he took 4-5 less per year to go to Pittsburgh. Queen was a 2nd team All Pro with a bunch of subpar ones before that, so in that way he’s a good fit. But he is a couple of years younger. Baun just made the First Team All Pro. This is a completely different animal than most players. Those guys never hit the market.

I’m concerned that he ends up closer to Roquan Smith (5/100) than even Queen. There are ~half a dozen good Off Ball Linebackers in the whole league and a lot of cap space out there. Washington for example…

Question will be if teams think he's that good or a product of Fangio's scheme.
One year of great play after being a journeyman will cause some to pause.

Give me long armed click and collect guys that can tackle in space all day for Vic. He's probably a day three guy that's in the rotation year one and will help on special teams, so that seems worth it to me.

One year of great play after being a journeyman will cause some to pause.

I'm not sure good LB play in Fangio's scheme will be viewed as a negative when he's asked to cover far more ground than other off ball LB's.

So apparently, at least from a video I saw with Merrill Reese yesterday, that should Moore go to the Saints, the Eagles have already been talking with Frank Reich as a contingency, and would be our top candidate to backfill. Apparently, Nick is one of the only coaches Reich would work for as a OC again, so its expected it would happen.

The one hope I have is that I had the exact same thoughts about Quinyon last year. There was no possible way he was lasting after being the best player there. I love Green, but he’s not the same level of prospect. Of course this 1st round isn’t 2024 either but some delusions are fine.

I'm hoping they take Lampkin and make him into a FB/TE. But he probably gets a shot at C somewhere.

Hell yes. Let’s get weird. Did you see the clip of him standing up Deone Walker on a bull rush? That’s giving up 9” and 70 lbs., although it’s also part of the problem with being a 6’7” IDL.

I hope someone creative gets him. There’s something there even if it ends up being non-traditional.

It was a really good rep. I just feel like he's shaped like Mike Tolbert. And I freaking loved Mike Tolbert.
