Last season was supposed to be a retool due to cap hell for them but Josh put the whole team on his back yet again and got them within sniffing distance of a Super Bowl. This Spring Beane has gone Shock and Awe on making cap space and getting picks. Diggs was becoming a #2 and Davis was a #3 receiver at best. And they're both over 30. Khalil Shakir ended up with more yards on half the targets than Diggs last season.

Watching the old drafts, it's amazing how transparent coaches and GMs were back then. They basically would tell you what their board looked like. Who was getting traded. I guess because there was no social media then and they didn't feel the need to combat reports in the media. Crazy times.

If the contract value reflects his 'availability issues' (which I would assume one month into free agency and with just a one year deal) and the Eagles don't count on him to be healthy but rather just take it as a bonus if he is, then I like it.
