I was going to take him at 30 w/o the trade down. I try not to take obvious things that won’t happen like Jalen Carter at 10. It was borderline for sure.

He mostly played edge at Northwestern and he has pretty long arms and with the type of athleticism you want on the edge. Maybe a base edge that kicks inside on passing downs if he’s not bendy enough to beat NFL OTs.

I was kind of into the idea of keeping Penny and having two good RB's, but his moving on is understandable. You guys already know he's been injured quite a bit but looks very good when he's in. Hope he does a great job for you guys.
