Who or what is a Shy Tuttle?
I am confident it's a little too aggressive.
They'll be active after Compensatory picks are affected. This isn't going to be a few days. You've got a real wait. It's right after the draft.
He's the guy that almost beheaded Matt Ryan with a stiff arm after he picked him off a few years ago.
Perhaps I misunderstood - or I misspoke - but I just meant I want Howie to sign cheap UFAs, or guys released that won't count against the compensatory formula. Aren't guys who are released from teams not counted against that formula?
Correct. Being Released means you're exempt. Only players whose contracts expire count.
You only have to be in the top 35% of contracts to qualify, so it's possible. But those are some CHEAP players.
We don't have much in 2023 draft that I really want us to be trading. 2024, sure...but I can't see teams doing that unless they need to dump cap which is also kind of our problem. For sure. I mean, I don't want Howie to only target those guys, but I guess I'm saying it'd be wise for Howie to use these first few days primarily for some bargains rather than even bothering with most top guys.
Or look for some trades, of course. People keep yapping about Ekeler, so I dunno.

Yea yeah, after the 2023 draft, I'm sure we will try to find someone. Just going going to happen till Augustish.Sometimes you get lucky and find a guy on a rookie deal some teams would rather just give up now for a pick rather than wait a year and re-sign (like CJGJ) if we want to contend. We'll see!
Good landing spot for Taylor.
The mailata one is a steal, for a LT. Lane is kinda pricey for a RT (but worth it).Boy, does that Lane contract look good now!
