Oh good. The rigged league idiots are spreading to other threads. The most loser energy possible.

Anyway, here's what really matters here. The Thunder own a Dallas 2028 pick swap. Davis and Kyrie will be 35 and 36.

Do you remember when the thunder tanked worse than the Sixers and didn't get their front office infiltrated? That sure was something

No need, the franchise has already been ruined

This just gets weirder and weirder

Marc Stein reporting basically the same thing; they started discussing the idea a month ago. So they (Dallas) had a MONTH to think about this and they still did it.

That's because Dallas is GOING FOR IT and Anthony Davis is more important than firsts...

Because a team "GOES FOR IT" when they trade a BETTER STAR for a WORSE STAR(really #2 tbh)

It makes absolutely no sense at all. If Luka had gone on TV and said he wanted out of Dallas and wasn't going to resign there (he isn't a FA until after next season) the Mavs still would have gotten better offers than what they got from the Lakers.

You take your best asset and you don't talk to OTHER TEAMS AT ALL?

How the hell does ownership even sign off on something like this? It's gross negligence.

How did the league not step in & stop this trade?

Didn’t they do it before back in the day with Chris Paul to LA trade?

I’m not even a basketball fan & this trade makes no sense to me. The only pathway I could see to having some logic is if you just tore your whole team & started over but that doesn’t seem to be their logic.

Tbf, when the league vetoed the CP3 trade they were running New Orleans due to ownership reasons.

If you want to trade Luka, fine. Gretzky was traded ffs. The issue is when you have a player of that caliber you need to get a bidding battle going. AD is a great player, though at nearly 32 years old the Mavs should have gotten a much better return.
