Morin - Worth more than Kapanen right now.
Myers - Probably worth a similar amount, and I'm a huge fan. Don't know if I could pull the trigger though for Kap straight up, but that season he just had was unbelievable.
Hagg - Haha Kap >>> Hagg

Roflmao at Kapanen. His value is close to negative with his lack of development. I get that adjusting to pro game can take time. However Even against his age group he has been a huge disappointment in international tournaments.

Very uninformed. Just because someone isn't great on international ice it means he's not developing?? Guess all of Team Canada WJC 2016 is terrible and should be cut.

He had a pretty great AHL rookie season, and he has a ridiculous skill set. If he puts it together he's a solid Top-6 guy. If not he's a guaranteed Top-9 with his skill set.

He had 5 pts in 7 games in the WJ and was great in the playoffs....

This is the way I see it. Morin and Kapanen are close in value, Morin a bit ahead given his attributes of size with skating ability.

Kapanen is a much better prospect then Hagg.

Myers is a wild card. If he continues to play like he did this past season and continues on this development path he will be very valuable. He seems like a player who finally put it together but until he proves last season wasn't a flash in the pan his trade value is limited.

I like Kapanen and was happy when he fell in the draft then disappointed when the Flyers didn't draft him (although now have no qualms about that decision). However as a Flyers fan watching some of the defenses they have trotted out over the years, I am more than happy to hold onto our defensive prospects in the hopes that they develop and we can actually ice a good defensive corps for once

When it comes to D prospects, I would move Hagg, Willcox, or Alt for Kap.

Wouldn't move Provorov, Sanheim, Morin, Myers, or Friedman.

Your comment is as un knowledgable as the guy saying Morin is a near bust. Both completely wrong and unfounded.

I guess we are now even.

Kappy is the forgotten man. Mid-late 1st rounder with top-6 upside. Was tied with or ahead of Sprong as the Pens top forward prospect, has been comparable or better than guys like Milano (who the same thing is happening to) and Scherbak but since he's buried 4-5 back among Leafs forward prospects the assumption is made that that is where he would fit everywhere else and how he should be valued.

I like Myers as a swap, hell of a signing.

Yeah kappy is still a top prospect for the leafs who have arguably best prospect pool in the league. He sometimes gets forgotten about but remember he's one of the younger players drafted from 2014. He had a great rookie season in the Ahl followed by an excellent playoffs. He's sort of like the winger nylander better two way game but less finish. Just as much skill, speed and shot which is saying somthing.

If flyers gonna trade one of their D-man they will wait until they made name for themself in NHL. It will yield a better return. If Myers, Morin, or Sanheim hits their projection, Leafs will need to pay premium for them. Meaning it would not be out of reach for Philly and ask for Nylander or Marner.....

Thing is we have the same thoughts with Kap. We fully expect Nylander and Marner to be considered off limits to all except for true elite D help.
Even now Prov is prob the only D prospect I consider moving Nylander for and Ghost, Jones, Lindholm are in the class that makes me consider moving Marner for.

I can see why the Flyers don't want to move those Dmen, I can also see why the Leafs need Kapanen.

200ft game with elite speed and high end skill shouldn't be moved so fast IMO. Let Keefe and Babcock groom Kapanen as much as possible. He can be a very important piece moving forward if he puts it together.

Kapanen will be a quality 3rd liner at worst. Has great wheels. I don't think any of those Dmen project to be top 4. Stick with Kappy and he might be a good top 6 winger someday.

Morin easily projects as top 4, and Meyers is putting out a strong showing. The hesitation on Hagg I can understand, but come on now.

It will be out of reach. Nylander and Marner still project to be top line players.

Myers is IMO the best prospect out of any of the 4 guys being discussed. I would say Morin and Kapanen are close in value. I haven't seen much of Hagg but from what Flyers fans seem to be saying he is a tier below all of these guys.

For me, NOBODY is getting Myers,Morin,Provorov. Hagg can be had but he's not enough for Kap. I dont see the Flyers parting with a young defenseman anytime soon. I actually laughed out loud for certain people in here calling Morin a bust. Thats just pure stupidity. Was Pronger a bust early on too ?

Honestly, not interested in a 1 for 1 swap for any of these 3. Not what we need, I'd hold on to Kapanen.

So with forward prospects like Matthews, Marner and Nylander already in tow..and Travis Dermott as your best D prospect, you wouldnt move Kapanen for Morin or Myers? Not trying to build a winning team anytime soon, eh?

I'd probably move Friedman for him. There are just so many players ahead of him, I think Kapanen would fill a better role in our prospect pool.

I'd say Morin has much more value than Kapanen.

Myers has similar value, but I'd rather have Myers because 6'5'' right handed puck moving defenseman are rare these days.

Kapanen is much more valuable than Hagg at this stage. Maybe Hagg can improve this season as he was starting to look better towards the end of the season last year. But at this moment a Hagg for Kapanen trade would be a terrible one for Toronto.

maybe morin, the other 2 arent even close.
I'm a lot higher than most on Kapanen though.
next year he i at the age where prospects usually become rookies in the AHL (20 years old) and I think he is gonna have a big year

It's quite simple really.
Kapanen >>>>Hagg
Morin is a LD who compares to Valiev, Dermott and Nielsen who in turn are behind Rielly, Gardiner and Marincin. I don't think he is demonstrably better than any of those three prospects. So he is more of the same.
Myers might be the most desirable imo but I'm not completely sold on him. We need a potential ELITE Dman and I would be willing to pay for it if it looks like that is our only option (trade). At which point we would need the depth in our system (Kapanen) to step in and fill the void. None of the three you name strike me as having elite potential.

Just my opinion.

I think when Morin actually gets seen by the masses in the NHL, they will change their tune. He is one big beast and a SOB.
