With the talk of Prov and Nylander its obvious that both fanbases appreciate the others asset but feel there is too much risk or value their asset slightly more. So maybe if we step down a tier we can make a deal?
So Kapanen for 1 of Morin/Myers/Hagg??

None of those are Devils prospects. Think you made a mistake, man.

I don't think the Leafs will be trading Kapanen any time soon unless it's for overpayment. None of these guys can be considered overpayment, and some of them aren't even worth Kap one-for-one.

Think management is a lot higher on Kapanen then most Leafs fans. Although he does hold quite a bit of value and we do have a lot of talented wingers in our prospect pool.

Myers is the right handed shot i'd covet but don't think the value aligns there. I expect Flyers fans to not want to move Morin for Kapanen and maybe open to a Hagg for Kapanen swap but we have so many LHD I don't see a point.

Feels at this point it would be a trade to make a trade. Might as well hold onto Kapanen for now, he had a good 19 year old AHL season.

I'd do Hagg but wouldn't move Morin for Kapanen. Myers looks like he may be a diamond in the rough, but the value is probably fair.

Kap can play either wing, so he has that versatility to fit around a line-up.

Don't know how much the Flyers value those players.

As a Flyers fan I would give up Hagg for him, but definitely not Morin or Myers.

Trading Kapanen for one of those guys is just a move for the sake of movement, rather than making the team better. We already have plenty of good defensive prospects who can make middle or bottom pairing guys. We lack elite defensive prospects and while a Nylander/Provorov deal (which I am not a fan of) addresses that need, this deal with Kapanen does not address any needs.

No thanks. We already have similar wing prospects in Konecny, Aube-Kubel, Lindblom, Laberge and Allison.

Flyers say yes to Hagg for Kapanen. Say no to Morin or Hagg for Kapanen.

Hägg for Kapanen?

Done and done.

Morin or Myers for Kapanen?

No thankyou.

And I like Kasperi and have done since way before he was even drafted. His dad was one of my favourite players ever and I think he can develop into a good 2nd line NHL winger.

But Morin & Myers if they develop well will be top 4 NHL defenders with pretty rare skill-sets. Not often you get 6'8 & 6'5 guys who move so well with the skills they have. Guys like that are far harder to find than guys like Kapanen.

Also does not help that the Flyers already have: Konecny, Lindblom, Aube-Kubel, Laberge & Allison... who can all play RW and all have at ~2nd line or better upside. (though ofc different chances of achieving that upside.)

With Voracek, Simmonds & Schenn who are on the team right now as guys who can play RW to 1st line level already.

Hagg isn't very good. Morin is looking like a bust and I don't know enough about Myers to really comment.

Kap should help with your lack of LW prospects. Kap can play LW and can+likes to use his sick wrister off the wrong wing.

I'll add to Hagg, but I wouldn't move either of the other two for Kapanen. He's a decent enough prospect but I like the depth of our D men right now, and there's no guarantee they'll all pan out. The more you have, the better the chances.
