I get that there are many that hate Hagg, and Risto is maligned in Buff, but damn Flyers. That's some potentially very high picks going the other way.

Feeling good about that 2023 pick being pretty high in the 2nd round given Philly's new trajectory.....

Chuck Fletcher trades a 2022 first round pick to ensure his team tanks for 2022 and 2023. The man is a genius.

I'm truly sorry flyer fans I would honestly say something positive about the player but he absolutely sucks and I feel so bad that your GM was a sucker

So the flyers have now traded:

13th overall
2021 2nd
2022 2nd
7th
Gostisbehere
Hagg
Myers
Nolan Patrick

They received:

Ellis
Ristolainen.

I'm not convinced their trades, on balance, make them better.

Well that's a revamp of some extent, but giving out these picks for receiving only that isn't probably great. I wonder if Ristolainen would agree to a contract extension right away?

Got to be excited for a much improved tomorrow if you’re a Sabre fan, no? In 3-5 years that club could be really good. Going to have lots of guys about the same age all competing for ice time.

Kind of like back in 2012-2013 when they used high picks to land Grigorenko, Girgensons, Ristolainen, and Zadorov? I don’t think you can be excited to dump all the players who panned out in the hopes that maybe one day things will be different

Didn't realize the Flyers had a management team that consists of Mike Milbury and Pete Chiarelli...Flyers hoping these trades pay off long term, cause your gutting your draft picks like they are meaningless!
