With the ellerby - Martinez pairing being a total disaster, I guess you sit ellerby for regehr. Martinez should play better with a stronger defenseman like regehr.

Since quick isn't 100%, Bernier and quick should split time the next couple of weeks. Let quick heal up between starts.

I think sitting quick until the playoffs would be best or atleast bernier get most of the starts from here on, Greene would likely be back too by the playoffs.

Quick should get time off to get refocused and heal for the playoffs.

You don't prepare for the playoffs by sitting on the bench.

So Quick is rusty as hell game one ? Along with Greene?

It doesn't work that way.

Greene will most likely be playing heavy, sheltered minutes if he comes back.

I think they should play Bernier a bit more, until they feel comfortable with their playoff position. But that won't happen. Just hope Quick looks better during the playoffs.

Okay then give Bernier majority of the starts because quick looks injured. At the same time you dont play an injured goalie.

Never gonna happen.

Like I said, they've taken notes from the Vancouver debacle. No way that's gonna happen here. Want and what will happen are two different things. Yeah Bernier should play a little more, but he's not going to.

Quick is just off on his angles not sharp. If he was really hurt, I am sure the Kings would have shut him down by now.

The guy is owed a ton of money, you don't ruin him by playing him (really Hurt).

If it were up to you, would you?

It's a tricky situation. I would play them 50/50 for the regular season. I would not play Bernier in the playoffs.

I don't think Quick is hurt either. Hurt is when you minimize movement, stop playing the puck, etc. Quick's moving just the same as he used to. I think he is playing through pain after surgery at about 85%.

not a good game at all. With our 40 shots, none of them were really dangerous. The goal Justin got was a weird bounce of their defensemen. It also doesn't help when the defense sucks the entire game.

I wouldn't because we are in a strong position, Quick isn't playing horrendously, just struggling, and Bernier is gone at the end of the season. Bernier will not see ice time in the playoffs unless Quick lets in 12 goals in the first two games or something. Quick is our guy, and that isn't going to change. No reason to doubt it now. Might as well let Quick battle through it and give him more time to sharpen up for the playoffs, and making him sit on the bench won't help things too much.

I was only listening and couldn't see what some of you guys were. I was bored most of the game.

I felt more anxious when the Dogs had the puck then when the Kings had opportunities.

Then the last period really annoyed me.

Not sure what happened, they have the day off tomorrow, they could have smashed some dogs, but didn't after the 1st.

Like i said i was only listening and not watching so please don't start flaming me, And yess i'm not that strong in hockey knowledge. but i like when the Kings are gritty. Hell i like when they are slow to start and finish up strong(Like a freight train) but they have been playing like this the past few games and i miss the grit.

Whats amazing is Quick still has played well enough to win 12 games.

Struggling mightily

Then Hopefully he gets his angles down soon.

We really need Greene and RR to take over, the defense is getting ridiculous.

Really hoping for a forward tomorrow. We need top 6 bad.

If Quick were hurt, there wouldn't be too much Quick in net. Just too many games where he's all over the place.

It's like he's an exaggerated Jonathan Quick this year. If that's the new contract, or having to live up to last year, or making up for Mitchell and Greene, or recovering from the surgery, or all of the above, whatever it is, he's been a caricature of himself at times. The flexibility is what won him the Conn Smythe. So far this season, it's what putting him out of position.

There's just too much Quick, instead of just enough.

That's a good way of putting it.

Quick does look to be overplaying things. He looks like he did when he came up from the AHL.

Too much athlete, not enough Goalie.

Knew we would lose this game after not scoring on Pillows in the first few minutes off that sequence of two or three quality chances.

Coyotes suck. They won't make the playoffs. At least there's that?
