I don't know if it's been mentioned or not but does anyone think Toffoli's game is much like Cammalleri's? They both seem to be one dimensional sniper type of a player.

I think a 20 year old goal scorer is understandably one dimensional.

Terrible game but I'll take the two points...the team didn't play well except for maybe one line and the majority of goals were scored on a bad goalie through individual efforts. Still I'll take it for today, better than 0 goals...

Humbug. What's next going tell toddlers there is no Easter Bunny!

For people saying Toffoli is one-dimensional, have you not noticed how many times he's been in great position as the third man high in the zone when opposing teams are trying to break the puck out? His reads are fantastic right now.

Never saw Cami backcheck and make any of the defensive plays I saw Toffoli do tonight.

He's going to be great once he bulks up a bit and learns to play along the boards a bit better.

I wouldn't say it was a bad game. I just do terrible in games when it's back and forth. It was too difficult for me to be entertained. All I wanted was a win. It was hard for me to enjoy it.

As for Toffoli, the kids got it. There is just no way he doesn't score in the NHL. I'm just scared he's going to get traded. He's still a kid though, so I expect him to be around for awhile. At least I hope.

Tonight's result has me in a wonderful mood.

Nothing better than seeing your team win on the road, nothing worse than seeing them lose.

After last year I haven't been too bad until tonight. These are the kind of games where I watch most of the 3rd period standing up. Helps keep me a little more calm for some reason.

But wow what a win. Like I said, I haven't been this excited for a win in a while. Great 2 points and don't look now but the quack pack have lost 3 straight.

GOOD ... I miss Cammalleri  , not that I wanted to pay him $6 Mil a year at the time,
BUT frankly I think Lombardi totally screwed the pooch with how he handled Cammy from day 1 when he took over.

Why? Cammalleri is and has been what Lombardi said he was and would be, one of the best players on a team that won't win jack.

Toffoli is only 20. Let that sink in for a little.

We could have 15 years of Toffoli. Please don't trade.

We know, doesn't score in big games. Won't show up in the playoffs. Montreal beating Pittsburgh in 2010 was all Halak, right?

And getting back to TT's overall game, who cares if he is below average defensively, there are players with multiple Stanley Cup Rings, Gold Medals, All Star appearences and Hall of Fame enshrinement's who were below average defensively. TT has hands that can't be taught.
