The players they've brought in over the past few seasons... Ullmark, Hall, Lindholm, Foligno and Zacha just bring so much to this team.
I have been very vocal in my criticism of Don Sweeney and Cam Neely, but I freely admit that all of those signings have been huge in this team’s success, and I am happy to give them the credit they deserve.

Holy when did Marchand move to #2 in pts on the team? That's mental! So many less games!
Completely crazy. Lots of surprises with this team, but Marchy coming back so early and already looking so good is near the top.

Hockey players having hip surgery typically don't come back early, they take a year to get back to being fully normal, and have to ease back into things. Brad had double hip surgery. He came back uber early. Was skating great as soon as he came back. And by all indications will erupt at the latest by the time the playoffs start.

8 less games than his linemates, yet he has more points than either one of them. And both of his linemates are having an excellent season. What Brad is doing is phenomenal and is borderline supernatural. I've said it before, but good luck showing me a more competitive player in the NHL. This season under his set circumstances demonstrates the size of his heart and love for the Bruins.

I can’t overstate what Taylor Hall brings to this team. I’m not an expert when it comes to hockey Xs and Os, but Hall is a dynamic playmaker that absolutely makes a difference almost every second he’s on the ice. He has the talent of a Pastranak and the relentlessness of a Bergeron.

He loves being a Bruin, and I love having him on our team.
Agreed! Always been one of my favorites since watching the Memorial Cup finals on the NHL Network in 2010. Cam Fowler as well from that team.

But, I've always wondered why he's never been tried at center ice. His speed and playmaking ability would be perfect at center. Perhaps he's terrible at faceoffs.

A couple things.

Didn't think they played super-good but I love that the coach switched up the lines to get things going!
Did Ullmark have an Andy Moog inspired helmet? or is that his usual helmet?
So glad Jake is still a Bruin.
I am concerned about Carlo jumping in to the pile for a goal celebration. He might really hurt someone. ;)
When was the last time Bruins played an outdoor game? Against Buffalo at Rich Stadium?

The Bruins played an outdoor game at Lake Tahoe in February 2021 and beat the Flyers 7-3.

I remember when there were posters on this board who claimed the rest of the team hated DeBrusk.

And that he wouldn't make it overseas playing. And that he's trash. And his family sucks, etc etc. And other horrible things.

Glad he's showing those people wrong. He's been a huge contributer to this team. Huge. And he looks fantastic. Mentally and physically.

This is probably the closest team since the cup run and 2013. They just love each other. You see it. Everyone has bought in. We have leaders lead. Great coach. It's lovely to see.

If he is, Patrice Bergeron could help him. IIRC he helped Charlie Coyle get better at them.
