I won't wax poetic about it because Seguin helped win a cup, but the Oilers taking Hall over Seguin was one of the dumber things they e done with all those high picks. Seguin was Taylor made for that teams as was Hall for the Bruins.I can’t overstate what Taylor Hall brings to this team. I’m not an expert when it comes to hockey Xs and Os, but Hall is a dynamic playmaker that absolutely makes a difference almost every second he’s on the ice. He has the talent of a Pastranak and the relentlessness of a Bergeron.
He loves being a Bruin, and I love having him on our team.
Showing respect toward one another and no more tossing players under the bus has made the Bruins a close-knitted TEAM since Monty came aboardI really like how the coach acknowledges this about his players. I also love that Foligno asked the coach before the 3rd if he could speak up, and coach gave the green light. Mutual respect all around.
Makes ya wonder how different things would've panned out had that happened. Not just for the Bruins but Oilers/snowball effect.I won't wax poetic about it because Seguin helped win a cup, but the Oilers taking Hall over Seguin was one of the dumber things they e done with all those high picks. Hey happy new yearCraig Smith? Nothing on him? Lol guy is a complet washup...he s been hurt or benched or?
refreshing for sure.Coach calls himself out to the media before his players. I like Cassidy but this was a bang up move by the front office to bring him on board.
Also hope Foligno sticks around with the team after he retires (whenever that is). Also, all for him coming back next season if they can make the money work. Guy just needed to get some health. He’s great to have.
The quality of the ice is understandably miserable but if the NHL wants to promote this spectacle they must find a way for higher quality ice or move on.I get and enjoy the spectacle of these outdoor games.
But the on-ice play itself is like watching a rerun of game from the late 1990s dead puck era. Every outdoor game I've seen has been basically the same. Choppy with no flow and few high danger scoring chances. Coaches (especially the road team) play it uber-conservative hoping for a mistake to be made. It is what it is. I'm just glad the Bruins found a way to send the Fenway crowd home happy.
Oh, I was hoping they took a post-game victory team photo! Those are the bestIt was a fun game to go to. Jake woke the crowd up and then got it really going. Maybe not as good but here is my goalie hug picture.

Yuppers. Have won 11 in a row. Interestingly, the Canes have six less regulation wins than the Bruins.Hurricanes are 25-6-6 and are six (6) points behind the Bruins. Crazy.
I have loved every minute of his game this year, always making tough, grinding plays that don’t show up on the score board but absolutely affects games. He deserves a ton of credit for back checking and overall toughness this year. I enjoy the way he plays the game.I can’t overstate what Taylor Hall brings to this team. I’m not an expert when it comes to hockey Xs and Os, but Hall is a dynamic playmaker that absolutely makes a difference almost every second he’s on the ice. Sounds like he's the newest Bruins fan to me lolI sat next to a Toronto fan who was decked in all Bruins gear with his friend who’s a Bruins fan. He happily acknowledged his love for Bergy and that we own his team.
This is the complete truth, frustrating game to watch and listen to.They are lucky they didn’t play a better team. They had no business winning today. That was awful hockey for 2 3/4 periods. They have a growing list of things they need to nip in the bud fast. Starting games on time should be at the top of their list.
I told him that before I lost my voice. Mind you I didn’t even yell and still lost it. Pretty sure it’s because the bar beforehand was so loud. I sound like a wounded animal but it was so worth itSounds like he's the newest Bruins fan to me lol
