I can’t overstate what Taylor Hall brings to this team. I’m not an expert when it comes to hockey Xs and Os, but Hall is a dynamic playmaker that absolutely makes a difference almost every second he’s on the ice. He has the talent of a Pastranak and the relentlessness of a Bergeron.

He loves being a Bruin, and I love having him on our team.
I won't wax poetic about it because Seguin helped win a cup, but the Oilers taking Hall over Seguin was one of the dumber things they e done with all those high picks. Seguin was Taylor made for that teams as was Hall for the Bruins.

I really like how the coach acknowledges this about his players. I also love that Foligno asked the coach before the 3rd if he could speak up, and coach gave the green light. Mutual respect all around.
Showing respect toward one another and no more tossing players under the bus has made the Bruins a close-knitted TEAM since Monty came aboard

Makes ya wonder how different things would've panned out had that happened. Not just for the Bruins but Oilers/snowball effect.

Coach calls himself out to the media before his players. I like Cassidy but this was a bang up move by the front office to bring him on board.

Also hope Foligno sticks around with the team after he retires (whenever that is). Also, all for him coming back next season if they can make the money work. Guy just needed to get some health. He’s great to have.

refreshing for sure.

fliggy should do the 35+ bergeron/krejci bonus structure, would be easy to fit him in for minimum cap hit and slide a few minor bonuses.

I get and enjoy the spectacle of these outdoor games.

But the on-ice play itself is like watching a rerun of game from the late 1990s dead puck era. Every outdoor game I've seen has been basically the same. Choppy with no flow and few high danger scoring chances. Coaches (especially the road team) play it uber-conservative hoping for a mistake to be made. It is what it is. I'm just glad the Bruins found a way to send the Fenway crowd home happy.
The quality of the ice is understandably miserable but if the NHL wants to promote this spectacle they must find a way for higher quality ice or move on.

Great to have the Bs with the win!

I have loved every minute of his game this year, always making tough, grinding plays that don’t show up on the score board but absolutely affects games. He deserves a ton of credit for back checking and overall toughness this year. I enjoy the way he plays the game.

They are lucky they didn’t play a better team. They had no business winning today. That was awful hockey for 2 3/4 periods. They have a growing list of things they need to nip in the bud fast. Starting games on time should be at the top of their list.
This is the complete truth, frustrating game to watch and listen to.
