Somehow doesn't seem to have a thread but should be one of the top goalies eligible for the 2025 draft. Highly decorated goalie prospect (see above). Won the CCHL with the Navan Grads and they're currently 2-0 in the Centennial Cup as well with Nelson stopping 57 of 59 shots.

Rumor has it Ottawa is considering not bringing back Collin MacKenzie which would mean lots of OHL starts for Nelson in his rookie season.

Epic game today. He needed more time to adjust than I expected but there's definitely a learning curve. His positioning has improved a lot and so has his rebound control. The both of them have been all over the place earlier this season. You can tell he's gaining confidence with every start. Today he was standing on his head. If this is gonna be his standard then he's definitely gonna get drafted and gonna be a very good one for the 67's.

He's gonna have to show more of the same in order to get drafted. But he's definitely trending in the right direction.

Btw...what's your opinion on Medvedev? Somehow doesn't seem to have a thread or I'm too stupid to find it. Barely 2025 eligible but from what I've seen he's been good for London. Everybody is talking about Ivankovic but I never liked him much and he's clearly struggling. In my view, Nelson and Medvedev are the OHL goalie prospects to watch for the upcoming draft.

Medvedev has been solid so far. Kept the Knights in a few games. He is basically splitting games with Elliot (OA) right now. He beat a really good Rangers team and he really played well in that game. I see him being a later round pick
