Anyone know what time is the waivers Deadline is today? is it at or before the trade deadline?

When contending and with 4 players taking 40m under the cap, I think TOR will try not to even have 1m of dead cap hit, I may be wrong though !

My impression is this. Putting Mzarek on waivers and replacing him on the roster with Sateri gave them part of the cap room needed to fit in Giordano.
My guess is that they may have a deal in place for a goalie if he clears. If not, they stick with him. Whatever happens, I think the Leafs may try to clear some cap space today to be able to bring him back up Or to fit in whatever goalie they may pick up.

i don’t think it’s a case of the Leafs expecting him o be claimed, but if it happens, they likely havr a plain in place if it happens,

Sateri is depth for the Leafs or potentially a team that claims him.

There is absolutely no way mrazek is claimed.

If a team wanted Mrazek, Dubas would have traded a mid round pick with him to give him away. Why would you take him for free if (for some god forsaken reason) you wanted him, when you can get a free pick out of it?
