I really like Ula as well. I was also surprised they made Levac a scratch after I thought he played a strong game, including a key goal Tuesday night. Maybe they had already decided on the rotation for the weekend or something to that effect. In the four shifts/game that Genc Ula plays in (when he's actually in the lineup) , he is one of the best players on the ice. So let's see more Genc Ula, shall we? At 16 years of age, gents, the Petes have a future player in Ula
I like Lefebvre and he's done a lot for the Petes for many years but he's not exactly a Wilson type player is he.. And I mean the physical side of his game. I haven't enjoyed watching him try to draw penalties by embellishing - hate that - that's for FIFA. Anyway McIntyre has answered the bell lately with some goals and physical play - you notice him. He's a character for sure. Melee is the captain and heart n soul kinda guy with some skill and speed. Bryant needs a few more games to get his feet under him. We know he's staying anyway lol.I think we can only reason that this one isn't a completely on-ice decision, if you read between the lines of what they expect Bryant to bring (defense first/two-way, leadership/former captain) etc... there's a reason they brought him in and perhaps those aren't exactly Lefebvre's strengths.
I'm really not sure why Rye or Johnston is on the team. I say that because it seems like the coaches have no faith in the backup. Maybe Rye will start Sunday, but I'd be surprised. They don't seem to have any confidence in the backups.back to Bowen again definitely thought this was a start for Rye
Rob Wilson has said that Easton Rye will get the start in Windsor on Sunday.I'm really not sure why Rye or Johnston is on the team.
