Great point. Tough to lose a kid like McIntyre (great kid) but Stonehouse is an upgrade. NHL signed player, so bringing in that leadership and skill can only help the younger guys in the long run. And to be honest a 4th and 6th is nothing considering what some teams paid out.
It is considering this team is dead last and is in no position to be trading away future assets unless there was some coming back before the deadline tomorrow but that looks unlikely. The way they handled the OA situation right from the start of camp with Stzsuka has been a mess. 3,3,4,6,9 now used to shuffle OA’s around in a lost season is insane

As a 67s fan, I can only wish Brady the best for the rest of the year. I hope finds his mojo again. As with so many players under the current regime, his development has stalled. Maybe Wilson and company can help.
He should have been let go before and kept Lefebvre. McIntyre is not OA quality on any team in the league. They somehow think they can push for the playoffs but they’d have to play at a insane pace the rest of the way to even come close also Ottawa would have to go on a big time skid

I have a difficult time figuring this one out. Is Stonehouse that much better than McIntyre. McIntyre is not a superstar but neither is Stonehouse, McIntyre went to bat more than once for younger players on the team and this is what he gets and the Petes are down two draft picks. And even if Stonehouse was a huge upgrade he will only be here for two and a half months. I would feel different if the Petes were a few points out of a playoff position but they are not and they will have several games against loaded Eastern conference teams (Oshawa, Kingston, Brampton, Barrie etc.) Maybe there is a lot behind this that we as fans don't know.

He was was a 37 goal scorer for the 67s two years ago. He is better offensively than Ryder MacIntyre is.

One of the announcers on the Cogeco broadcast just said that Zach Bowen was seen leaving the arena on his own accord during the intermission. I think he has been traded.
