Well at least he only got one game. Sudbury got 6 for Toure yesterday for grabbing Savard from Barrie from behind and throwing him to the ice. Gave him a little shove when he was down and that warrants 6 games according to the league. Development league my rear end. They have handed Sudbury the most suspensions this season for offences that were not very serious. Its becoming a joke of a league and these officials are inconsistent in reviewing and calling penalties on these plays. Savard and Frasca gave out a lot of stick work and mixed up just as much after he whistle and Barrie gets no calls.

Last night again with the Petes your player was charged and ran over. Ive seen that play being called head shots, charging major etc... North bay has gotten away with a lot of physical play that most teams get called for. Stillman yeah gets 17 minutes but the 1 game suspension is a joke.

No Dubois, Stillman, McCoy or Spearing tonight.....the boys will have to dig deep, especially our 3rd line: Melee - Lefebvre - Purdeller

Serious question here. I didn't see a penalty to Toure on the game sheet, but one for a slew foot to Robinson. So I went to the video. I saw Toure take Savard down and then, as he went off, he leaned over and said something. If he had spit on him, that would be either a GM or a Match. Was there a discriminatory slur of some kind? That's a 5 game rip right away. Just wondering.

Simpson likely sick.....he didn't appear to be injured.
With guys out of the lineup injured/sick/suspended there just isn't enough depth.
Really missed McCoy tonight.....tough going with only 5 D.

Just looks like the Petes are out of shape or have lost interest. Who's our conditioning coach?

Just not skating and creating opportunities with the exception of maybe the ex-Bulldogs guys, McCoy and Mayer.

Avon is still recovering from whatever injury he has. Melee has lost his edge and Smith is playing defense like he's still trying to figure out what to do out there.

At times this year, Lockhart. Melee, Dubois, Purdeller have been better but somehow seem to have taken a step back. How do players with so much promise (Smith included) regress with so much ice time? Coaches need to address some big issues like , how about play like a team, a unified group that moves the puck around with some pace.

Take it with a grain of salt because it is second hand info but the rumblings are the room itself is toxic. The new guys don’t want to be there.

I’m not sure if it is a coaching/organization issue or infighting between players. The person that told me didn’t know.

I had a second person tell me something similar.

Well based off an Owen Beck article in the Peterborough Examiner from a couple days ago, he wants to be here. As far as Avery Hayes is concerned, I swear his smile gets bigger and bigger every goal of his own or a teamates. Thursday's home game against Mississauga showed a true team celebrating and feeding off each other. Tensions are definitely running high, no questions there, and of course everyone you know is just going to conveniently jump to the "they don't want to be here" schtick. I know you've got your 'sources' and will believe what you want to believe but let's take a step back here and take that shit somewhere else. Not putting up with that BS.
