I certainly had my doubts about some of the trades and the makeup of this team. I'm so happy I was wrong. What a great night and great playoff run. Full credit to Mike Oke for making those bold moves. I'm glad his gamble paid off.

The resiliency of this team was something special. I keep hearing about how great Seattle is, but with what this team has done, I won't be counting them out (even though the Memorial Cup is more of a crapshoot than 4 rounds of playoffs).

This has been such a fun couple of months. No matter what happens in Kamloops, this is a Petes team for the ages.

And...I think Northern Voice picked the exact right outcome for all 4 rounds?! (Got any lottery numbers you want to share?)

Congratulations to the entire Petes organization on winning their 2nd J. Ross Robertson Cup.

Without a doubt fully deserved to win, the Petes were a gutsy and resilient team this season. Nothing but the best of luck the Petes moving on to the Memorial Cup in Kamloops.

Enjoy the ride fans this is a exciting time to be a Petes fan. Show rhe CHL why the OHL is one of the toughest leagues in junior hockey.

Go Petes Go !!

As much as it hurts to lose, I really like this win for the Petes as it's good for the league Overall.

Also... I'm still looking for a Logan Hunter Petes jersey if anyone has one to sell 😎
Ever tried calling the Petes office to see if there’s an old game worn one laying around? Likely the only way to find one unless you buy one and have the name and number put on. Jersey style would be different though.

I did.. unfortunately nothing. I'm really hoping for something in the same style that Logan would have worn, and according to my discussions with the team the jersey design has changed slightly over the years.

I know Logan had a bit of a cult following during his short stay in Peterborough so I'm hoping someone knows somebody who may have one gathering dust 😎

Knights fan here. Congratulations to the Pete’s, their fans and organization for winning the championship. I wish Brochu and Spearing could have played to see if what the outcome would have been but alas we had to play cards dealt. Like Dale said to Martin in the line “Bring the Memorial Cup” home to OHL. Go Pete’s Go!

Does Owen Beck serve his remaining game suspension in the first game of the Mem Cup or can he serve it at the start of next season or is it over because the OHL championship is over?

After reading this article from 2014 that involves Ted Baker, it appears that Beck's suspension is over. :thumbu:

London Knights’ Anthony Stolarz has stick-swinging suspension lifted for Memorial Cup.
I asked the same thing a few posts back. Seems like it’s a bit of a discretionary call but I would be shocked based on precedence if he isn’t eligible for Game 1? No injury, no intent to injure in my opinion and he has technically served 50% of the suspension. Plus the OHL wants to compete in reality against the WHL and QMJL so he will be in!

Congrats once again and Good Luck it’s a big ole mountain you have to climb BUT this team has answered the bell every other time it has needed to so why not one last time?

Congratulations to the Petes executive, management, coaches, training staff and most of all to the kids on the ice who made this huge acheivement possible. I don't think any of us saw this coming especially after the up and down winter they had. A special thanks to coach Wilson. I wonder if he will get a pro offer. Let's hope we show well at the Memorial Cup.

I'm so happy for the city and Petes fans, it's been a long run for us, 17 years since a title, with the "what might have been" from 2020 lingering. It was so great to see the rink full every night - what did we finish at, 15 straight sellouts or something and a 10-1 home playoff record.

The city really showed up for the team and the team paid them back and more.

After so many years, and even just this seasons ups and downs, the reward is so much sweeter, it certainly hasn't been an easy road but what a fantastic destination.

One of the amazing things about this years Petes team is that they managed to win while having such a poor power play. At 10.6 percent the Petes had the worst power play of any OHL champion in the last 24 years. But I’m spite of that they found a way to get it done.
But the best penalty killing unit. Shut down other top teams pp.

The jersey has changed slightly since Logan played. I have one that style but it was the first Petes jersey I owned so there some attachment to it (along with a pizza stain:laugh:). I wouldn’t be shocked one could be found floating around. Will keep you in mind if I ever see one or bring myself to part with my old one.
