Everyone saying no is going to be real upset if he signs in Florida and they stomp the Leafs in round 1, they may do it regardless but you need this type of guy along with the Domi, Bertuzzi, Knies, Benoit and McCabe types we've added. You're at war and Perry is the type of guy you can go to war with, knows what to do.

I’m curious where he would play
3rd line RW could be an option.
Jarnkrok-Domi-Perry could be an annoying line with skill, takes Robertson out of the lineup.
4th line RW another option.
Gregor-Kampf-Perry could be interesting but idk if this utilizes kampfs defensive abilities the best
I don’t think top 6 makes any sense whatsoever, so it’s basically those two positions and I’m leaning towards 3rd RW.

Yes, if only because we won't have to worry about playing against him.
I'm all for it if we can somehow find the stones to demote Reaves. Not sure I'd want both of them taking roster spots though.

I would be ok with it, and he would make us a better playoff team. If the NHL has reinstated him, it should not be considered a controversial move.
Based on Perry's previous comments to the media, I also believe that he has been a friend of Tavares outside the rink for a long time, so I don't think there would be any bad blood if we sign him.

Assuming the Leafs, the NHL and powers that be determine he didn't really do anything too bad in Chicago, nothing close to criminal, etc. I would want to see the Leafs take a look at Corey Perry. Precisely because he seems like a clutch and shady guy who could be a weapon for this team on the ice.
In a vacuum, yes. Extremely effective player who would fit right in. But this vanilla organization won't go near Corey Perry, too much noise.
